I was recently asked to photograph The Grand White Dinner event in Durban and after photographing the Diner en Blanc events a few years ago I knew that it would be a fun day/evening. It was so exciting to see how everyone dressed up and how much effort was put into making it such an exciting and successful event. It wasn’t difficult to get people to smile for photos as everyone was having a blast in fact I had the opposite problem of almost everyone wanting their photograph taken. The weather was just right and I spent the 6 hours walking non stop around the event taking pics of all the activities, sponsors, acts on stage and of course the amazing setting. With Moses Mabhida Stadium as the backdrop it wasn’t difficult to get great pics. I was blown away by the performances on stage, wow such amazing talent here in South Africa. A big thank you to all the sponsors involved such as Liberty, Volvo, Skip and the rest who I may have left out.
Here are some images to help convince you that next year’s event is not to be missed.
